Domain Issues
Just a quick note to let you know that we do NOT own omahachurchofchrist.org. We did in 2004, but we do not own it now.
The owner of omahachurchofchrist.org is NeonShark, a company with hundreds of websites containing nothing more than links. Some of these links are not family-friendly and none of them really have much to do with God or Christianity. They have contacted me offering to sell the domain back to me, but for a huge price. Any web domain should not cost more than 5 or 6 dollars a year for .com, .net. or .org. You can get specialty ones that cost more, but none of them sell for $80 – $200.
I mention this because Arlee, our youth minister, has his name on the .org site. The link on his name goes to places that will mess up your computer and your soul. I have written this company asking them to remove his name. Unfortunately, there’s nothing else that can be done. Again, we do not own omahachurchofchrist.org. Content on that site is solely the responsibility of NeonShark. You can write to them yourself at domains@neonshark.com and ask them to remove Arlee’s name from their website.
