Vacation Bible School

June 14 through 16 was VBS for the children of two congregations in Omaha. We want to thank the Southwest Church of Christ for allowing our members and children to participate in this year’s Vacation Bible School. We appreciate their leadership in this very well-run and organized event.

We are also grateful for the seeds of faith planted in the hearts of all the children. We hope that the example of Christian service will be strong in their minds as well. We are also grateful that our children can witness Christians being unified and working together. Thanks again to the folks at Southwest, especially to Franklin Wood.

Speaking of Franklin, he wanted to pass along a message to the members of our church. The following note is taken from an email sent to us.

Thanks so much for your encouragement!

I really appreciated members of Omaha CoC and their willingness to jump right in. I was encouraged to see our members loosening up and talking during the classes. Praise God when His people unite!! I only wish I had more time to talk to people!!

Thanks again for all the help.

You can read more about VBS on his blog here(Day 1) and here(Day 2)
