Dare to Dream

In Psalm 126, God’s people are celebrating the fulfillment of a long awaited dream! Finally able to worship God in freedom in the land he had promised them long ago, the people shared “our mouths were filled with laughter, our
tongues with songs of joy!” This is what God wants for each of us in our Christian walk.
Today there are many who have shied away from dreaming great things for God. Whether from unrealized dreams, relationship disappointments, or any other number of ways, Satan is constantly plotting to take our eyes off God.
Paul challenges us to dream more than we ever have before in Ephesians 3:16, when he says “Now to him who is able to
do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Inspired by a desire to see the singles in the Heartland dream again and make an even greater impact on the world
around them, we would like to announce the Kansas City 2009 -2010 “Dream in the New Year” weekend which will
take place from the December 31st through January 3rd!
We are very excited to host this event, with our greatest hope being that it will strengthen and challenge you in your
walk with God, inspiring you to new dreams of impacting your city with the gospel of Christ.
