Mission Statement
‘DREAM Teens exists to devote our lives to God, to develop lasting Christ centered relationships, to equip ourselves with the full armor of God, to become ambassadors of Christ and to become Christ-like servants in our ministry.’
Our Ministry Objectives
DEVOTE:
- 2 Chronicles 17:6 ‘His heart was devoted to the ways of the LORD’
- Inspiring teens how to devote their whole hearts and beings to the ways of the Lord.
RELATIONSHIPS:
- John 15:12-14 ‘My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.’
- Creating an atmosphere of Christ centered relationships through bible study groups, special events and mentoring.
EQUIP:
- Eph 6:10-11 ‘Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.’
- Equipping teens with the full armor of God to fight off Satin and his evil schemes through deep Bible study.
AMBASSADORS:
- 2 Cor 5:20 ‘We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.’
- Inspiring teens to become Christ’s ambassadors by bringing their friends to church and other special events.
MINISTRY
- Eph 6:7 ‘Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,’
- Learning how to have a Christ-like servant heart that will build up our ministry, our church, our community and the poor.
